ProMat 2027 may still be 16 months away, but it is already shaping up to be one of the biggest supply chain events the industry has ever seen.
The show’s exhibit space draw attracted 930 exhibitors who reserved a record 977 booths, totaling 653,600 net square feet of show floor space. That accounts for 94% of the ProMat 2027 show floor and marks the largest exhibit space draw in MHI history.
“The record success of the ProMat 2027 exhibit space draw is a clear indicator that MHI members have a positive economic outlook for 2026 and beyond,” said John Paxton, Chief Executive Officer of MHI. “This bodes very well not only for the event, but for MHI members, their solutions, and the supply chain industry as a whole.”
ProMat will return to McCormick Place in Chicago from April 19 to 21, 2027, and is expected to be the largest supply chain event of the year.
ProMat 2027 is expected to include more than 1,000 exhibitors across roughly 700,000 net square feet of show floor space spread over three exhibit halls. Companies will be showing everything from standard material handling equipment to newer tools tied to AI, robotics, and data analytics. The event typically draws manufacturing and supply chain teams looking for practical ways to improve daily operations.
In addition to the show floor, ProMat 2027 will include an Educational Conference with keynote speakers and more than 200 show floor sessions. Industry experts will lead seminars covering a wide range of topics across manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain operations.
