Smart packaging specialists Packsize has agreed to buy Sparck Technologies, a packaging tech company based in the Netherlands. The move brings together two companies focused on reducing waste and improving packaging speed and accuracy, especially for high-volume operations.

What’s Related

Sparck’s machines, such as the CVP Impack and CVP Everest, are used to create boxes that perfectly fit each order, helping businesses ship goods more efficiently while reducing material usage. With the addition of Sparck’s technology, Packsize says it can now offer a wider range of packaging systems that are smarter and more environmentally friendly.

“Sparck has long been recognized for its innovation, reliability, and strong commitment to sustainability—values that align perfectly with our own,” said David Lockwood, CEO of Packsize.

“Sparck’s box last and lid and tray solutions allow us to solve a broader range of packaging challenges,” said Brian Reinhart, Packsize’s Chief Revenue Officer. “This isn’t just about growth—it’s about delivering smarter, more sustainable automation at scale.”

Sparck CEO Kees Oosting called the deal “a perfect match,” saying it will help both companies bring more value to customers faster.

Sparck was part of Quadient until it became an independent company in 2021, with support from private equity firm Standard Investment.

“We’re confident that together, Packsize and Sparck will continue a strong growth trajectory,” said Herbert Schilperoord, Partner at Standard Investment.
